After the events of finding the lost Avatar, Reka along her two younger siblings, Sokka and Katara, traveled around the world with the Avatar in hope's of saving the world from the Fire Kingdom. They traveled to different kingdoms, met new friends, allies, and enemies.

Every other day was a new obstacle for the group of friends. One obstacle being the prince of the fire kingdom, Zuko. A boy who quickly caught the eye of Reka.
