She wakes up and sees a wolf and follows it,then finds herself in a time long ago. So she can lern to use a sword with a strong power. she meets koga in this world then falls in love with him. she then finds a power in herself she never knew she had.

After teaming up with Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Shippo, Chiyo leads the group to the demon slaying village where she once trained. They find the villagers slain before meeting Sango, who wished to kill Inuyasha who she believed killed her village. After seeing the truth, the group continues their journey to find Naraku and Chiyo crosses paths with the long foreseen true love that Reiki predicted that she'd meet one day, southern wolf demon tribe leader, Koga.
