After the world got used to the new " humanity " or people with special gifts has they say the world itself got divided in between those who support help and understand the new generation and those who think they are aberrations and need to be extreminated or contained as if it was a disease 
There were even those who tried to take advantage of the special one's
But theres still hope and good people around and so it was created an elite group to preserve those who dont have yet control to save those who get hurt in many ways and to try and understand this world to know the why's the who's and the what's 
The way I like to call them 
That elite group is formed by THE HEROES OF OUR DAYS
