Sam Cortez just wants a normal life where she has a family, is smart, and can be happy.
Instead, she had no family, deals with dyslexia, and runs from monsters. The monsters that killed her father and almost killed her.

2 years later, she still hasn't found it.
One fateful day, she meets a strange boy named Nico Di Angelo and it all goes to Tartarus from there.
