You (reader) are a 19 year-old, aristocratic female (sorry other genders! If requested I will make one for you!) in France. The date is the 5th of May 1789.

Being Duke [L/N]'s only daughter meant that you had a lot of responsibilities, yet you didn't care for them. You just wished to dance the night away, drinking champagne and eating the mass amount of cake that has been provided. 

What will happen when you run into the most gorgeous and secretive man you have ever met?
