Dream is actually younger than he looks. A witch helps to make it show. Tommy becomes his dad.
The storyline is a bit fucked up. Dream went to prison before Tommy was sent into exile. He was still torchered by Quackity for 3 years then was sent out to make it look like he was still evil by the commands of Quackity.
Dream comes out traumatized and nothing like he once was. Tommy noticed and was confused until he saw Dream absolutely panic at the sight of shears. After that they become close when a witch comes along and changes their relationship.

He lives somewhere in England, his family in America. He moved to England to get some more action into his life, do something new. But ever since he started hearing the voice, nothing's been the same since, and not in a good way. On the same day of his birthday, he got a package in the mail. The address was unknown, and inside the package was a book with a title that read "DO NOT READ". There was a lock on it, so he couldn't read the book. He has it kept on his bookshelf now, in case he might ever need it. The voice started to tell Ranboo things he shouldn't be hearing, things about how this world isn't real, and they're all variants of another. He's tried to pay no mind to the voice, but day by day it gets louder, and more vivid with it's wording. When he was 3 he was placed into a foster system where 4 years later he was adopted by his foster fathers, Sam and Ponk. They already had a son, George, and Alex loved him, they got along really well (at least that's what Quackity thought) When he started High school he fell madly in love with an older boy, Johnathan, although he preferred Schlatt. The two dated for a few years, Alex growing more and more aware of who he was dating, he ended up leaving the man and 3 years later taking in his son after Schlatt died of a heart attack. . . . On Wilbur's 13th year in the institution, he was sure he would just be stuck in this Limbo, left to wait until he finally died, no one could help him and it seemed that no one wanted to help him.
