Edmundo, a enigmatic exchange student hailing from South America, embarks on a new journey as he relocates to the United States to reside with his aunts following the untimely demise of his parents. Little does he know that his family lineage is steeped in ancient magic. However, Edmundo faces a daunting challenge as his aunts strictly forbid him from harnessing his magical abilities.

Adapting to a new school environment presents another hurdle for Edmundo. As the new kid from a different country, he struggles to find his place while simultaneously grappling with his magical potential. Amidst this struggle, Edmundo finds solace in his growing affection for Copper, a compassionate star football player who wholeheartedly wishes to see Edmundo happy. Fate also introduces Sophia, a brilliant girl who becomes Edmundo's ally, assisting him not only in navigating the complexities of school but also in honing his magical powers.

Driven by a sense of impending danger, Edmundo is determined to safeguard his loved ones, as well as uncover the truth behind his parents' mysterious deaths. Perhaps there is a malevolent force lurking, holding the key to their demise. However, Edmundo also questions whether he is merely chasing shadows and wasting his efforts. Together with his newfound friends, he must delve into the realm of magic and face the unknown to unravel the secrets that lie beneath.
