Alexis Hart or Smith, as she prefers, grew up learning to hunt the things that go bump in the night. It was her life. She was taught it was the only thing that mattered. She never knew what normality felt like, she didn't even know what it was like to be a normal hunter. That was until she met Dean Winchester.

At the age of thirteen Alexis was on a hunt with her father, he went out and said he'd be back in a little bit. Then when he didn't show up or even call Alexis knew what had happened. She was stuck here and after a few days of sitting in the motel room she decided to check out the supposedly haunted house where she met the fourteen year old Dean Winchester. She'd never met a hunter her age before. She hadn't met many hunters at all. 

Over the course of a week and a half the two grew close, bonding over the fact they both grew up hunting. Dean had even introduced her to his little brother Sam.

When John came back from his hunt Dean did something Alexis had least expected. He asked of she could stay with them, seeing she had no where else to go. John pitied her and let her tag along.

Now, almost thirteen years later dean and Alexis are still best friends. They still hunt together. And when John goes missing Alexis is determined to help Dean find his father. Dean and Alexis break into Sams college apartment in hopes of convincing him to help them.

Alexis also has to figure out what these weird dizzy spells she keeps getting are. What happens when she starts to think they are more than just dizzy spells? And all the while learning to accept that she might just have feelings for the hunter that gave her a chance thirteen years ago.

You grew up to be a hunter despite your fathers wishes for you. Your father, Bobby Singer, hated that you were in this line of work, and he always blamed himself for ridding you of a normal life. It's not like he didn't try to shield you from this life. For the majority of your childhood you weren't aloud to touch weapons or read up on anything supernatural - but his efforts went to waste whenever the Winchesters were over. Growing up an only child with just your father to keep you company could have been boring, but every once in a while one of your dad's old hunting buddies would drop his two sons off at your house. Those weeks and sometimes months when Sam and Dean Winchester lived with you were the best times of your life. The two brothers were your best friends. Dean was the first person to teach you how to shoot, hell he was the first on to teach you most things in this line of work. For a little while you saw them as your brothers, that is, until you and Dean had turned 16 years old. The two of you had celebrated your birthdays together when John (Dean and Sam's dad) dropped them off at your house for nearly six months. During that extended stay you had developed a sort of crush on Dean that you never saw coming. Unfortunately you never were able to explore the possibilities of that relationship as you rarely saw him after those short 6 months. Only every once in a while, then never again after your father had threatened John, cursing him to never show his face around the scrap yard again. He even cocked the shotgun and everything. This story follows along with season 2-6 of supernatural. You are a 26 year old female (the same age as Dean in season 1). I don't own any rights to Supernatural or any of the characters. Elena hits her head in the roof and is unable to move. She coughs as glass bits crumble to the ground. "Ahh!" She screams in pain. Running feet are heard coming by. "Hello!" Dean appears and scares her. She screams. "Elena, it's me." He says. "My seat belt...I think it's stuck. I can't-" She says. "Sh sh sh." Dean says and crouches to her level. "I'm gonna unbuckle your seat belt, but first I need you to put your hands on the roof." Elena does what he says. "Is this okay..." She cries. "It's perfect." Dean says. "On the count of three, I'm gonna unbuckle you, okay?" "Okay." "One...two...three!" Dean yells and Elena falls in the roof. He pulls her out of the truck and puts her in her feet. She can't seem to stand. "You're okay." Dean says, relieved. Elena opens her tear-filled eyes. "He slept with her." She says and turns unconscious. Dean looks around to make sure that no one thought he was kidnapping her. Dean picks her up bridal style and puts her in his Impala. » After Dean is mysteriously brought back from Hell, Sam and Elena are left in confusion. But what Dean comes back to is anything but happy. Sam is working in secret with Ruby, the demon. Elena has no idea what Sam can really do because he is almost never around. Ruby, in a new body, is helping Sam exorcise demons using his demon side. Dean finds out that he hasn't been talking to Elena and they get into a big fight. While Sam is making new friends with Ruby, something is going on with Elena and she had no one to turn to but Dean. Hesitantly, her arms snaked around my shoulders. I brought a hand up to cup the back of her head, shutting my eyes and taking a deep breath. Lavender and coconut....and whiskey? "I've missed you so much." I whispered. Saige pulled back then, shaking me off as if she didn't believe me. Then the door creaked open and a guy walked in. He was around my height, maybe an inch or two shorter. He had blond hair and dark eyes. "What are you doing here?" Saige asked, looking over at him. "Here to pick you up." He shrugged, a smirk forming on his face as he looked at me and placed an arm around her shoulder. "Nice to meet you. I'm Thomas." ____ One year after Sam sacrificed himself to stop the apocalypse, a year and a half after Saige died, and suddenly the two reappear, flipping Dean's world upside down and tilting it on its axis. All while helping hunt down this demon, meeting new hunters, and realizing that Dean means a lot more to her than she previously had thought. She also can't shake the feeling she's being watched all the time. She starts to uncover the dark secrets of her family. Of her mother's. She tries to figure out what the demon wants from her, and how she can help kill it. And now, her nightmares have went from keeping her up for a few hours to scared to even close her eyes. The nightmares are getting more and more vivid as she watches them unfold every night. She can't stand the feeling of helplessness she has to live with now. The jumping at every shadow behind her, the fear of the dark and what lurks inside it, the dread that never leaves, the horror that awaits her every time she drifts off to sleep. Alexis wants it all to stop. But maybe with the Winchester's here to help her, like she's there to help them, it won't be that bad. Or will the shadows overtake Alexis? Will she drown in the darkness? Will that one light that she has burn out? Or will she make it through these dark times? And how is she sure better times wait ahead? Are there? With Dean back from hell everything seems to be looking up for Alexis. Sort of. She's still recovering from all the new information she's been thrown in the last four months. All while trying to help Dean with hell haunting him. She knows it is, even if he won't tell her. Its battle after battle, and she knows she can't lose hope. She can't let go so easily. They'd been through so much, everything would be okay. It had to be. And all the while she's battling her mother, who she recently connected with. Alexis us sure her mothers intentions aren't pure, but she offered something Alexis couldn't turn down. Alexis also has been making some questionable decisions in the name of revenge and love. Her heartbreak was healing now that Dean was back, but things seemed to be slowly shattering all over again. She can't let go. She has to stay strong. Or who knows what she'll lose.
