Hoatzin was born wingless, and being a Skywing that didn't really make sense. Passion and Toucan, two rainwings took her in as their daughter, giving her a life in the rainforest. But when a troop of Skywings, Mudwings, and Seawings goes to the rainforest in search of a dangerous assassin, her life is tossed up into the mix. But now she has the opportunity to go to the Sky Kingdom as a hero she'll take it. But when two worlds collide, how many lives will be thrown into the chaos.

What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is.
