This is the story of Ian and Kat. Two very new friends, who met quite unexpectedly. But Ian and Kat aren't normal. In fact they're not even considered human anymore. They're what the human race now calls,"Hybrids". Hybrids are exiled by the rest of the human race because all hybrids are crosses animals and humans. Kat is, ironically, a cat hybrid. And Ian is an extraordinary kind of hybrid. Ian is a dragon hybrid. No one knows how the dragon hybrids were made, only that they are few in numbers. 10 years before Ian and Kat met they were both normal kids. But now, 10 years later, hybrids are hated and are hunted and killed. They are killed because people think that the hybrids will eventually band together and try to kill the people who aren't hybrids. Now that Ian and Kat have met, they must watch each others backs and protect the place that they both now call home.
