Year 1920,
A young lad in his early twenties, Barrister Anirudh Roy Chowdhury returns from London with the aspirations of changing hideous customs. He gets a companion in his journey when he have to marry the chiry, jubilant and strong witted girl Bondita, in the pretext of saving her from being sati.
Their similarly in thoughts make their relationship grew rapidly. Bondita perceives education and becomes a barrister like her husband, going against the society. But will she be save from the evil eyes of the society even after she becomes a barrister.

She is naughty, cute, fearless and a girl with so many arguments. To save bondita from the victim of Sati pratha Anirudh married her. Although he didn't call her his wife. But she meant everything for him now. His best friend, student, teacher and most importantly his life. Same applies on her. Now anirudh is her mentor, guardian, best friend and her world. It's been 4 years they live together and they share the purest bond together. Anirudh want bondita to be the first lady barrister of Tulsipur. In that era when women were not even allowed to get educated, he sends her to the school every day. They fought alot for this achievement together.
