Faye was the third child of Mikael and Esther. But her magic was different from her mother's magic. She had to absorb power from other magical people or objects in order to perform witchcraft. Being the first of her kind, she had to learn all of it by her own.

The night, her and her siblings drank wine together before going to sleep, Faye knew something was off. She quickly realized how right she was. It was wine mixed with blood. To turn them into vampires. Faye didn't want to live as a blood sucking creature, so she escaped, as soon as her parents weren't watching.

Centuries later, she decided to settle down in Mystic Falls, a place full of magic she could absorb. A perfect place to find a solution for the supernatural problem.
