After the Great War, the Olympian gods initiated the Time of Separation, dividing two worlds: the Mortal World, devoid of magic and reserved only for humans, and the Outer World, where chaos reigns freely. Five hundred years later, an unexpected crack in the magical barrier allows the dark creatures of the Outer World to threaten the Mortal World, though the gods remain unaware of this looming danger. Deryn, a young mortal woman, finds her life abruptly changed when a powerful force from the Outer World-one of the greatest powers of the three worlds-unintentionally becomes bound to her body, and she finds herself in the heart of the Outer World. This power, known as the Prime Flame, has been hunted by the dark creatures of the Outer World ever since it was stolen from its place of safekeeping, making Deryn a target for those who seek to claim it. In a world ruled by darkness, the only one who can help Deryn survive is the last remaining god in the Outer World. The God of Light, one of the most favored and powerful immortals of Olympus, offers Deryn a deal. He will help her return the Prime Flame to where it belongs and rid herself of its burden, and in return, Deryn must help him find the lost love he has been searching for centuries. As they embark on their perilous journey to restore the Flame, the bond between them grows increasingly complex, and a palpable attraction forms between Deryn, who has never trusted the gods, and the God of Light, desired by all the women in the three worlds. This attraction deepens as they share challenging experiences and come to rely on one another. In a journey filled with lies, secrets, and dangers, the only way for them to get what they want is to trust each other-no matter what.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

The Greeks: Hades, Zeus, and Poseidon give Luna the option to come with them or stay behind. She strikes a deal to go with them for no longer than one year. The goal is to learn who and what she is, but that isn't what the three brothers have in mind for her. When she arrives back at the Gods Territory, she meets the rest of the members of the Godly Council. Some like her presence there, and some don't. Will Luna be able to learn everything she needs to know about herself and make friends with the Gods? Or will she be thrown into another devious plot by mythological beings just for being what she is?
