Prince Mehmed was itching to rule a Sanjak like his older brother Mustafa but his mother wouldn't let him in fear that she will have to leave the castle with him like the customs demand. The characters don't belong to me excluding Shams who I made up. The plotline will be changed in the future so Shams will get the ending I want her to.
