Ashlen Makes has never had an outlet. Her parents raised her a single child without playdates. Not that she minded really; it was embarrassing to imagine anyone coming over and hearing their terrible fights.

But, there's something inside this seven year old child that has no name, but is more than a feeling. Something neglected and angry. Wicked as sin.

No one notices the dead birds that she can make fall from the sky like feathery clumps of dirty snow. Birds that she can kill with but a mere thought.
