As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). Sonic Boom: Travels (Shadora) by Nyx_Wind

Life starts out exciting for a pink hedgehog by the name of Aurora when she sets out on her own for the first time at the age of 20. The only downside to this is an extremely over-protective dad (Sonic) who constantly worries about the most ridiculous things happening to you, and the mom (Amy Rose) always pushes to set you free when it's time. Everything changes for Aurora and a black hedgehog named Shadow when they crash into each other at Shadow Canyons. Aurora is in awe that she is with her longtime fantasy crush, and so is Shadow when he sees that he finally meets her again from his last trip through time. The two hedgehogs train each other for future challenges, until the death of Amy Rose occurs. Devastated, Aurora goes out to search for the Chaos Emeralds to save all the dimensions in existence (later figuring out she has to do more), figure out more about her powers, and to find Shadow's missing ex-girlfriend. They meet a sprite, a loyal wolf, a resistance, a young bat, a twist-hearted meerkat, and twin hedgehogs that share similarities with Shadow and Aurora. Throughout the journey, they all learn the power of teamwork, making Shadow feel unsure since what happened on Space Colony ARK and the last fiasco teaming up with Eggman. Shadow and Aurora get closer throughout the mission, but will they remain strong? Will they work together to accomplish the pink hedgehog's promise to her deceased BFF and mother? Why would Shadow team up with Aurora and their "friends"? Could it be to reach destiny, or true love? Who knows what'll happen next? What would Sonic think of all of this? So many questions. Characters belong to SEGA, and Sonic Team. Some inspiration goes to E-Vay, make sure to check out her art on tumblr, and some inspiration belongs to me.

Sonic and the United Kingdoms of Mobius AU by Mega6854

Sypnosis: Long ago, in a far away land of Mobius, there were a group of kingdoms that are each ruled by a king and queen, and are united by an alliance, but all the kingdoms were lead by one hedgehog. But now, a blue hedgehog prince is the next in line to assume the throne, but he needs a princess to be his queen, and he hasn't found the right princess to have as his wife. But little did he know, that there is one princess that is the right one for him. Dislaimer! I don't own the franchise! Sonic belongs to SEGA. It's been about one year since Sonic killed The Devil to end its genocidal rampage. Everyone began living their own respective lives, but it was not so respectful. Despite no longer afraid to be themselves it does not change how the world truly feels about them. The Freedom Fighters are nothing but hideous freaks. They know this. They are still held back by their past traumas that keep them from being able to move on and become better. Not only that, new threats and dramas keep popping out of nowhere and just make life even harder. Sure, there are no demons in the story this time, but everyone still has their inner demons. No one is free from despair. Try as they might to change things, it will prove overbearingly difficult and could tear them a part for good.

Defiance (Sonadow) by Ms_Reverie

A tragedy in an alternate timeline has lead Sonic and Shadow to travel back in time at the expense of having to never met. Far from how the usual reality could've portrayed it, a reality where Dr. Eggman has stopped his evil schemes and the need for heroes is no longer necessary came into fruition. While the new beginning seemed utopian for humanity, a loophole from the former sacrifice has yet to reveal itself as the chaos they once harnessed continues to grow within themselves. --- "So Long Goodnight Book II" - new readers need not to read Book I in order to understand the story of "Defiance (SLG Book II)." --- All canon characters belong to SEGA. Flora Foundry AU (A Sonic AU) by SquishyWritesStories

Some incident has occurred...the world will never remain the same again. The badniks, the eggforces, the enemies that Sonic and his friends, practically everyone was fighting against from the very beginning, had suddenly took no orders from Eggman, probably because none of his machines even remembers him. With no one to command the machines, the machines all wander around and are forced to adapt to the environment and into the societies that feared and despised them. As this happens, some form of disease breaks out as these strange light cyan pollen like things starts to infest the whole Mobius, making any of the living organisms LITERALLY melt. The ones who are not affected by it are of course, the ones who can regenerate and the /machines/. A society where they are forced to work with the eggforces, or what they used to be to survive through an already melting world...like as if that's possible, right? Disclaimer: Since I am a new writer and new to the Sonic fandom still, I may write some of the characters inaccurately. I will try my best to put as much research into the characters as possible to aim for character accuracy. Due to that reason, do expect some slow updates as I want to give more care of this story as I do with the rest of mine. No ships or any sort of romance would be featured or added here due to me, myself as the writer is not comfortable writing that sort of topic. And of course, none of these characters (due to being an AU) rightfully belong to me, they belong to SEGA. These characters are just going to be altered versions of the originals. Sonic and friends unwillingly travel to another dimension and upon arrival realise that they are not able to freely show their special abilities to the public or bad things may await. They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. The characters are aged up as follows; Sonic-21, Shadow-22, Rouge-22, Knuckles-23, Amy-19, Tails-15, Silver-18, Mephiles-18, Mighty-18, Sally-16 I am open to constructive criticism, so if you notice a mistake or something that just doesn't make sense, please comment so I can fix it.
