We were always doomed

Malia Michaels was an ordinary 15-year-old until one night she was crossing the street she was met with an untimely fate, or was she? Malia suffered pneumothorax and an aneurysm in her brain plus 32 broken bones all in one night. She died on June 14th, 2009, and came back to life on June 15th. She ran away from her safe town of Galilee bay and moved to New Orleans, where she found familiar faces of her kind and her family.
After meeting her family she moved to Mystic Falls Virginia. Where she began taking classes at the Salvatore Boarding School.
