At Camp Crystal Lake on Friday, June 13, 1958, Barry and Claudette are murdered by a killer in the barn as campers sing around the campfire...Two decades later, a hitchhiker finds out that the camp is cursed thanks to Crazy Ralph, while getting several rides...As Steve Christy and Alice Hardy and several teens fix the camp up, unaware of the horror that's to come.

A slasher novel of the original 1980 horror classic by Robert Helliger, author of "Camp of Legend", that goes for the jugular.
