Sofia grew up without a mother. Her whole life she never knew what it felt like to have the warm arms of a mum wrapped around her.

Sofia's father was a poor man, he worked in fields ploughing dirt and cleaning machinery. The pay was never enough money to provide enough for Faith, so she lived a life of poverty and constant fear. The death of her mother broke her father Cassius, it lead him to a life of drinking.

Sofia lives in Petersfield in Hampshire where there where huge Oak trees grew. When Sofia meets a mysterious boy, she will find a new found feeling of love and trust.

This is a story of love and heartbreak. And how the tree without arms saved a broken girls heart.
