""your so fucking full of yourself that even when I compliment you, it's an immediate liking situation I don't fucking like you and I probably never fucking will" "your an inconsiderate asshole." Makenna and Matt had disliked each other ever since second grade, when Matt accidentally kicked a soccer ball that hit Makenna and left her needing stitches. She thought he was reckless, and he couldn't understand why she made such a big deal about it. Their mutual dislike only grew over the years, with glares and cold shoulders becoming routine. But by senior year, being in the same friend group forced them to spend more time together. Makenna started to notice Matt wasn't as careless as she'd thought, and Matt found himself appreciating Makenna's sharp humor and kindness. Slowly, their old grudge softened, making way for an unexpected connection neither had seen coming.

this is my first time writing a wattpad story, please dont hate 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐦𝐞 ; the fine line between love and hate. Y/N never thought she would end up working with Matt Sturniolo. Since they were kids, they never got along. Their moms are best friends, and that means Y/N always ends up stuck with Matt and his brothers, Nick and Chris, every time there's a family gathering. Matt is always annoying, always sarcastic, and always trying to get under Y/N's skin. She's the quiet one, focused on her studies, while Matt is the carefree, popular guy who barely cares about school. They've never understood each other, and Y/N doesn't think they ever will. But when they are forced to work together on a history project in school, things start to change. Matt doesn't care much about the project at first, leaving all the work to Y/N, but soon enough, she starts seeing a different side of him. And maybe, just maybe, Matt is starting to see her differently too. As they work together, small moments start to build between them. The sarcastic remarks turn into awkward silences, and the annoying teasing becomes something a little more... complicated. They clash, they argue, but somehow, they also start to understand each other. With a group project deadline looming, Y/N and Matt will have to decide whether they can put aside their differences. Can they actually work together, or is the tension between them just too much? And maybe the bigger question-could they possibly end up liking each other, despite everything they thought they knew? This is a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers story about growing up, understanding each other, and finding out that the person you thought you hated could turn out to be the one you need the most.
