Thumble was born in the woods to a mother of only 15 years old. Having fled her unwelcoming township after being banished from her father's house, Misserie Draft raised Thumble in the only place that had every shown her any kindness: The forest. 
In this forest Thumble grew, learning the ways of the woods and how to use the gifts that nature has provided her.
