“Listen to me carefully. When you walk through those doors, you will arrive in the time called The Golden Age. Look through your bag for the package with the same name on it; press the button on the top and it should open. Read the instructions and it will tell you what to do and how to save us.” I looked at him with a questionable face. He shook his head. “Don’t be confused, just follow these steps and you’ll be fine. Now, go through the doors.”
“What about you? Everyone else!”
“We will be fine, now go before it’s too late! Go! Go now!” I stared at him; I could feel the tears forming in my eyes. One escaped and landed on his shirt. He smiled at me and said, “This is the second time I’ve seen you cry. You shouldn’t cry over me.” His voice was fading and he looked exhausted.
“There she is! Get her!”
I looked up to find monsters and creatures marching towards me. I got up ignoring the excruciating pain that followed and ran towards the door. Arrows of all sorts were flying at me, missing by millimetres. I dove through the door. They were still aiming at me; arrows and all sorts of sharp weapons were attempting to hit me until Archer pushed a button on his remote and the doors slammed shut.
“I hope you make it, for the sake of the future,” I heard him say on the other side of the door. “For the chance that I will see you again someday to finally tell you that you are the only thing in my life that is worth living for.”
