What Happens?

Nit Ratanaporn. After 10 years, he and his family moves back to California. After repeatably getting bullied and abused for his sexuality, Nit gets nightmares and usually ends up having seizures and random panic attacks in public. Because of this Nit has less friends. His parents hope that returning to California can help him move on from his past.

Deva "Dev" Patel. The classic bad boy in school. He has girls all over him. The only problem is he is gay. Scared of what his parents and friends will say he keeps himself in the closet.

Until that day, when a new student joins his class. Nit Ratanaporn. The teacher assigns them in a project. Dev soon finds out about Nit's nightmares and seizures and helps him try to overcome his past while he himself starts catching feeling for Nit.
