It’s funny how people change isn't it? The ones who were once so close to you have
lost their mask and showed who they really are. Meanwhile, you, your heart,
your mind, your feelings don’t allow you to believe in that, even if it thorns
you apart.
The moment one close person loses its mask you put one on yourself to protect you
and hide your true feelings.
A happy person who doesn't seem to have any problems in its life, always smiling,
always keeping up a positive way of living and seeing life… It’s actually the
one who hurts the most. You only see what’s on the outside but do you really
get to see what’s on the inside? The darkness? The demons? The shattered pieces?
The emptiness? The pain? The loneliness?
This kind of people are the ones who suffer alone and never let anyone know…
Why? Because they’re afraid to be misjudged and also because they don’t like to
worry people about them.
If a person like this holds you close, if a person like this says you’re special to
them don’t ever, EVER hurt them. Even if they reach a point where they raise
their voices at you, they don’t mean it… It’s just that they hold everything
in, their feelings, they hide it all inside, trapped in a dark box until the
limit is reached and the box opens and then… They regret it, they regret
everything…
And also… It doesn't matter in how much pain they’re into… If someone dear to them is
hurt they’ll do their best to make that person smile again.
Why?
Well… Let’s just say that for them, the smile it’s the best way for them to say: “I’ do
have a reason to live… And that reason is to light you up when you’re down.”
For them… The smile means everything.

(REWRITE OF THIS BOOK IS UP! It is called "Obsessive Love".) (I do not own the cover, Undertale nor any of the characters besides my OC's, they belong to their respectful owner. For some reason, I just see Error in the front instead of passive Nightmare.) Error, Forced God of Destruction and Destroyer of Universes was largely unknown unlike Ink, the Creator and God of Creation. Their fights were unseen by the AU's, none of the Monsters knowing about the Destroyer as Ink doesn't want them scared and Error gave no shits if anyone knew him or not. But Error's job is a complicated one, one that he is forced into, and he has to get involved to destroy the worlds. He doesn't touch the Original AU's, but the copies that Ink makes have to go. It was only a matter of time before something happened. Ink, in a middle of one of their fights, blinded Error, hurting him much more badly then ever before. In panic, Error ported into one of the Original AU's. Ink, fearing what Error would do, tells Dream about the Destroyer. Now the hunt is on for the broken, blinded skeleton. Meanwhile a blinded Error has been taken under the wing of another powerful Monster who has fallen for the broken Destroyer at first sight. But sweet love is truly beyond him. It is a obsessive love, a unhealthy love unlike any other. Nightmare would do anything for Error, and would do anything to keep him by his side as he goes about taking over all the AU's. Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better?
