The Mcfall family was blessed with a big brown eyed baby crying on their doorstep on a bitter october night. They were not a wealthy family and with out the ability to carry a child Mary and Lucus's marriage was at stake.
Werewolves had been rapidly falling extinct. Years ago mates were becoming an uncommon find and today it was unheard of. In order to save our kind all the alphas grouped together and formed a law. When a she-wolf hits the age of 18 and is still unmated she is to be put on a list that is sent out to any and every un-mated male wolf she is then chosen and is to marry the male who claimed her name. After three months of marriage she is expected to be barring a child. If she is still without a child she will be forced to step down as mate and let him remate. She is never to mate again.
Audriana turns into a beautiful young woman and it is now her time. However she has some ''issues" and now at 19 she fears she will be doomed to solidarity.
