Carolyn has had to grow up fast. This short story is about a moment in her life when she finally allows herself to grieve for the people she's lost. It's a little dark, and rather sad, but it's one of my favorite short stories.
I've been planning to post this story for sometime now, but hesitated not having a cover for it. Sadly I don't really have the time to make one up for it myself, but would love it if anyone would make me one.

This is a story about individuals trying to make peace with the lives that they lived. It's a dark, depressing story with some humor beats here and there. It does tell of suicide and other sensitive topics. Told in hopefully a respectful way. The idea was for this to help me sort through my past and help my present state of mind. Hope and Hardships
Daniel Johnson used to have a pretty good life for a sixteen year old. He had plenty of friends at school, he got semi good grades in his classes, he played sports, his parents were proud of him, he always got everything he ever needed or wanted without having to work for it. People envied him for how easy his life was and he had a number of girls crushing on him even claiming they slept with him. It seemed like nothing could go wrong for him or so he thought. All it took was one horrible event to take place at a party to change his whole life forever. Everyone he once called friends turned their backs on him as soon as they heard the news. None of them believing a single word that came out of his mouth including his own parents. So with no one on his side, a reminder of the event growing in his womb and his parents telling him they don't want him Daniel is placed in a foster home hours away in another town. A foster home with a family willing to take him in. And as the weeks go by with the help of his counselor and a new friend, Daniel is starting to heal and even fall in love. But will he be able to have a happy ending? Or will tragedy strike again and push Daniel to the edge? [Contains male pregnancy]Complete
Broken
Grace Jackson has been dealing with self hatred since middle school. It only became worse as the school years went by, and just when Grace feels it's time to give up, an unexpected person comes into her life bringing her out of the dark hole that she was in. Tyler Smith is known as the popular guy at school. He gets all the girls, he's the star football player, he's basically everyone's dream guy. Tyler runs into Grace and sees the scars that cover her wrists and makes it his goal to befriend the broken girl. But with a new friendship, comes new problems. Grace doesn't expect to fall for her new friend. Keeping her secret becomes harder and harder as the friendship progresses. But that's the problem. Tyler is oblivious to the fact that Grace is falling in love with him, and wants more than to just be friends. The two go on an wild ride of a one sided friendship and a one sided crush that may or may not turn into something more. Aria had a simple life, she had her friends, her brother, and her parents. Could he be the one to save her, before it all becomes too much? Ryder didn't leave much falsehood to rumors. A complete playboy. He didn't have much he cared about in life anymore, at least, other than his friends. They were the only ones who knew his dark secrets, the mystery that hid in his eyes. That's the way he liked it, usually keeping to himself, not giving a shit what anyone thought about him. When Aria walks in his life, things get shaken up. This is My Life
I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! Her Mysterious Ways
Cole the Not So Stereotypical Jock Being the most popular guy that girls all want to be with and all guys want to be should make you feel on top of the world, right? Not always, especially if you have to keep the fact that you can barely afford food a secret at all costs. And then the new girl shows up with her amazing dance moves and intoxicatingly confusing logic, and he can't seem to get her out of his head. She isn't the favorite girl of the school, not to mention his friends, and she doesn't show any interest towards him, but he has to try. The girl with the mysterious ways has got him wrapped around her scarred little finger. Not Andy Being the girl with no friends is never easy- especially when you have major trust issues and problems that can only be discussed with a shrink. That's why instead of slowly letting people into her life, she chose to shut them out completely. It seems easier that way, which is until she moves to Bangor, Maine and catches the eye of Cole, the football quarterback and heart throb of the school. He makes her feel things that she didn't think we're capable, and he shows how to make a bad situation into something semi-tolerable. It gets her thinking that maybe cliche boys with secrets aren't such a bad thing. During their 17th year, Andy and Cole must face the problems of high school, social hierarchy, their pasts, relationships, trust, friendships, and even love. Both of them knowing that stories like this never happen to kids like them, but they're willing to try anyway.Complete
