[PROCESS OF BEING REWRITTEN]

Hate - /hāt/ - the only thing that Louis and I have in common between each other; besides being tied for most popular in school

They say time kills everything. Love, life, laughter, and even pain – but it couldn’t kill what we had. We held the one exception. The single feeling we retained since meeting in Year 9 that never left, it defied time.

Hate.

Through the three years that we had known each other, our hatred didn’t die out like many expected. With time, it only intensified. While others spent their last year in high school making “memories that would last a lifetime”, we were planning one thing. The only thing four years came down to in our eyes – How to prevail against each other in the popularity factor, once and for all.

For popularity, I’ve cheated, lied, and rebelled, so I didn’t see any problems in doing so; apparently neither did he.

We’ve both broken rules before, but what neither of us anticipated – was that one school camping trip was all it would take, to alter everything.

“Three weeks aren’t going to change anything.”

There Kat, is where you were wrong.

17 parts Complete

"Why do you keep pretending you're afraid of me?" He hissed, obvious anger in his eyes. "Because Louis; if I'm not afraid of you I'll end up loving you!" I shouted. "And that means I'll get hurt...because that's just the way you are!" I said, hoping he would correct me. "You're right." He said simply after a long pause. "You're right." She was new; he was jaded. She was oblivious; he knew all too well. She was innocent; he was everything but. And anyone who looked at the two would know just how wrong they were together. Yet there was no denying the obvious fire that seemed to heat every time they were near each other. This isn't the typical "boy loves girl- they fall in love" etc. etc. This is about heart wrenching confessions, breath taking encounters, love shattering secrets, and two people who so desperately want to know just what love is.
