Humans.
What does it mean to be human? People always talk about the qualities of the human condition, how humans are brave, stupid, kind, evil. But the quality that seems to come up the most seems to be how resilient humans are. But when extra terrestrials arrive bringing war with them the human condition is put to the test. Can we overcome our flaws and this enemy or will we be crushed by the oncoming horde.

War for Change
Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. Force Of Nature (Animals x Child Reader)
If we humans have proven one thing, is that we are not one of the most destructive, but 'the' most destructive creatures on the planet. Once upon a time, we were unrivaled as a species, but after a certain experiment with unforeseen results, that time was done. A few select animals spread their gifts, planned carefully, and took dominance out from humanity's nose. The animals wanted to solve the overpopulation and bring balance by killing those who they saw unworthy of life since they would only hurt others while the semi-guilty and innocent are given new rules. Humans were supposed to be cowards. The Galactic Federation's species registry had them listed as a 2 of 16 on the aggression index. Our interactions with the Terran Union up until this point supported those conclusions. They had not fought any wars among themselves in centuries, and had formed a unified world government prior to achieving FTL travel. They had responded with eagerness rather than hostility to first contact, unlike many species.Complete
