Euphony

Nothing ever mattered. Nothing ever did. Nothing had a purpose anymore, just as life never had a purpose anymore. Nothing made an impact, not the slightest bit. No. Nothing changed, nothing changed. It all just stayed the same as always. The same new world in the same old shell of what once was. That's how it was. That's how it's always been, ever since you were a little child, since you were born into this new world of old, born from a faceless lifegiver. You don't mind it, the repetition gives you a sense of something, makes you feel less alone, less forgotten. Forever and for always. The same.

Or is it?

Something calls you from the deep beyond. Maybe everything isn't as it seems.
