"If you ever try to touch her again, I'll make you fucking regret it." Leo had a mind of steel, having captured my attention from the moment we had met. He had come for my heart in more ways than one without even the slightest realization of doing so. He had become my one weakness. Mi Rey. Kass captivated me with those golden Irises of her's dripping like honey whenever our gazes would lock on one another. She'd never know this, but I would have burnt down the world I had created with my bare hands if it meant she'd become mine and mine alone. Mi amor. "Love is a tragic mystery for the mind, heart, and soul, both a blessing and a curse. What a tragic misery love is. I don't belong to you, Leo. But I want to." Kassandra. A 22-year-old Hispanic woman hopes to follow in her mother's footsteps to become a doctor, specifically, a surgeon. She is still in love with her first love, who she swears has forgotten of her existence. Many locals in town wrote him as a man of shadows, saying that he'd drowned within his family's business in the years without his springtime flower, without Kass. He must've thought that she wished him ill will and wanted nothing more than to forget him. Which was far from the truth, and he'd never know it. Not until the night he returns. Leonardo. A 20-year-old Italian know-it-all all with an obsession for power. Having been thrown into a life he had no control over, leaving him with this oppressive darkness in his personality. There are secrets behind his grim smile that he'd only ever share with his childhood sweetheart. She must've known he'd become bad luck, plaguing her brightness with a shadow of death. Even if she did choose to forget him, he refused to allow it. And so, he returned to the hometown where it had all begun to bring spring back into his life of impenetrable darkness.

𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 Isabella moved to Italy with her best friend Aaliyah which was the best decision she has made for the longest time. She became a doctor and also won the Olympics in Figure Skating as a member of the Italian Olympic team. She wanted a new start from all that happened and that was what she got until everything changed when her ex-boyfriend, Axel Garcia came walking back into her life. But that's not the only thing he brought into her life. He's now the Don of the American and Latin American Mafia like he always wanted to be. But something was missing that that something was living in Italy far away from him and doesn't want anything to do with him after what he did. Axel knew he wanted Isabella back and he also knew he will get her back no matter what. He'll do anything to get her back. "You broke me! You broke my heart into many pieces," I yelled into his face. Just looking at him makes me want to cry because of all the memories that were coming back. "Pequeño Zorra, (little fox) I'm sorry-" I cut him off. "Don't call me like that. I'm not yours anymore. You lost me and everything that we had," I spat. I decided I had enough of him and his presence, so I grabbed my bag and was about to walk out of the apartment when I felt a strong grip on my wrist which turned me around to stand in front of Axel, inches away from his face. "You know that isn't true. I still love you. I never stopped loving you, amor. I promise you that I will fix this," he whispered and stared at me with his beautiful emerald green eyes. "Well, the feeling isn't mutual," I got out of his hold and walked out of the door without sparing the last glance at him. Before closing the door, I decided to say something. "Don't promise something you can't keep. We both know how that ended," with that I closed the door and walked away.
