Hikari, a samurai from a time long forgotten has long since become a shell of his formal self literally. It has been millennia since he was presumed dead and his body rotted away leaving his will imprinted on the armor he used to wear. Soon his memories left him too, to wander the world in search of a purpose or someone who wouldn't run from the ghost of a fighting spirit. With unmatched swordsmanship in the current area and his use of an ancient flame breathing technique, most enemies are no match for him. This eventually lands him in a group of adventures seeking to gain blessings from 6 mystic sages and he eventually becomes quite close with a young princess at the age of 8 who was traveling with the group. She had given his life a purpose again, he would protect her no matter what, for some reason to his mind it seemed right, that it may lead him to rest finally.

A new world. Somewhere she doesn't belong, and she knows it. But all it took was a pair of golden eyes to tell her that she was more at home here than she would be anywhere else. And all it took was a strong wind to blow her off course. Japan had always been home to him. The mountains, the fields, the little village nearby. He had grown up with it all. But that one full moon changed everything he knew. The strange smell that he didn't know. Something out of place. Normally something like that wouldn't have survived the hour. What he found in that field, however. Wasn't what he expected. An arranged marriage. A secret kept all too well. A death that never happened. A forbidden love that never should have been. And blood magic to deep for any mortal to brake. But no one ever said they were mortal. And no one ever said love has limits.
