My favorite of Mr. Browne's precepts from Wonder by R. J. Palacio. This essay reflects on how this theme is demonstrated by the character relationships throughout the book.

It is a story about a couple of characters that learn what it means to live in this world. They want to be better by only speaking about change. Talking about change comforts them and when it is time for action, they tend to forget about the promises they once made.
