Squidward has been hiding a painful secret for years, and now his past is finally catching up with him. With no one to turn to and his world beginning to fall apart, he tries to keep everything hidden behind his usual grumpy attitude.
But SpongeBob notices something is seriously wrong and he isn't going to let Squidward face it alone.
Will SpongeBob uncover the truth behind Squidward's mysterious past? Will he be able to save their friendship before it's too late... or will helping Squidward bring them closer than either of them ever expected?

It Was Always You
(Please, if anyone from my school knows who I am, I am BEGGING you not to tell) - Starts off with smaller sections of what quickly turns into the base stories and backstories. - Stay in school and do not write fanfiction. - If you have to stop reading in the middle of a story but want to save your place, leave a comment at the sentence and delete it later. - I PROMISE it gets better later on, so much of this literally makes my stomach ache with cringe. 😭 - Pretty Slow Burn. !!Nothing inherently inappropriate, but would suggest 16+!! Chapters are separated by what dynamic the plot focuses on. Plabs, Squidbob, Karendy (in the bg), and implied past Squillward.
Beauty and the Squid
Arrogant Prince Squidward is cursed to live as a terrifying, humanoid Octopus until he finds true love. Strangely, his chance comes when he captures an unwary clockmaker, whose place is then taken by her bold and beautiful daughter (Y/N). Helped by the Squidward's similarly enchanted servants, including a crab a puffer fish, and a sponge, (Y/N) begins to see the sensitive soul behind the fearsome facade. But as time runs out, it soon becomes obvious that (Y/N)'s cocky suitor Squilliam is the real beast of the piece. DISCLAIMER! I don't own you, Squidward, any of the Spongebob characters from both the TV show and Musical Beauty and the Beast, any songs, pictures, videos, etc. I saw an edit on Tik Tok of Broadway Squidward over the song 'Something There' and I thought it fit so well that I would write this. So, if this isn't great, you can blame a Tik Tok for inspiring me.Zakończone

Accidentally in Love
Squidward was the type of person who felt like that he didn't need nothing or anyone in his life. That is...until he decided to ask Spongebob for help when Squilliam's latest plan to humiliate him again takes a turn for the worst. Little did he know, that it partially involves Spongebob as well! This will be my first Squidbob fanfic so I hope to do well. Enjoy! 🤗Zakończone
