Miah Gerald and six friends go to Keāa Wād Mrnå, Death Temple Island, in search of the sacred Idol of Terror.

Miah's two older brother and older sister all left ten years ago on the Island in search of the idol, but only her older brother, Tyler, returned. He was half mad when the Thai Coast Guard found him on a homemade raft in the Thai sea and was sent back to the US and has since been in a mental facility.

Miah has wanted for years to search for her two other siblings, Gordon and Milee, but she was only 10 when Tyler was found.

Now, at the age of 20, Miah and six of her friends; Kimberly Anniston (25), Holden Smith (21), Xavier Briggs (29), Valerie Briggs (22), Cadence Gaines (18), and Lyric Michaelson (26), are all going to Death Temple Island in search of Miah's older siblings as well as the Idol of Terror.

But, there is a legend around the Island, that becomes a curse. It is said that back after the second World War, the Thai, then Siam, navy forced the residents of the Island, then known as Fortune Island for its gold, so they could use the site as a testing facility for nuclear weaponry.

The natives refused to leave and the navy returned a week later and dropped genetically engineered monkeys on the island. Within a month all the Natives had been killed off but the Shaman, or Magic healer. The Shaman cast a curse on the Island. He said that whoever comes with good in their hearts may return home unscathed, but those with evil, will never return.
