Light, a sunshine, extroverted person came from a cycle of family trauma, so did Alex... A lot of things ended up happening, so many that light can't comprehend emotions at times. 

He likes to belive he's living a normal, regular life. No one believes him but allow him to do so anyways. 

Assuming he'll eventually get magically better. But, hey! life kicks ya down hard enough and you may never be able to come back up. 

You could say, life kicked light down so hard, that's he's now living an upside down life. A life full of dispear and trauma. A life full of rage and anger, tormenting and breaking the wall of his very existence till he's no more 

Let's see how hard we can kick him down till he's had enough shall we?
