Everly Robbie-Joans has never been kissed, and she's never been in a relationship, unlike all her friends. She's fourteen years old and feels behind in life. But when her mother's due date edges closer and closer, she realizes that she wants to change so that she can be the best big sister she can be. So she tries, really hard, to step out of her comfort zone and be brave. Lie Côté is staying with his older sister for the summer, in Everly's town. Friendless, eager to be himself, and just out of the closet, he decides that over the summer he's going to be brave, try new things, and do all the stuff he's always wanted to do but never did.
