In this au, MK gets a second chance to go back in time to how the events of s3 started, so he can find a way to prevent Mei from becoming the samadhi fire. Although MK will still have his memories from the events of s3, the others, including Wukong won't remember what happened. MK will also need to keep the fact that he went back in time from Wukong, since he's worried about the fact Wukong will make things worse just like last time. He will tell his friends about it, but they had to keep it a secret from Wukong. And as for how MK went back in time, he gets help from 4 certain "passed away" friends of the monkey king.
Some events might change and the trust between master and student might break
