Everyone loves Ayaka Kamisato, the beautiful and perfect princess in line to the throne of Teyvat, an empire ruled by Queens. Having no heirs herself, Raiden Ei has placed Ayaka, the daughter of a elite and trusted noble family, as her heir.

Ayaka has accepted her duty as the Crown Princess, and stays where she is told, wears what she is told, and does what she is told. But secretly, Ayaka dreams of travelling Teyvat, though it never seemed likely.

Until she meets a young botanist who is assigned to the Palace. With his carefree nature, he shows her the wonders of life inside and outside the castle walls.
