Constantly terrified by the looming threat of attacks, Marley attempts to live her life of poverty in peace. She lives in a small shack in a backstreet alley way in the Omega district. Each day she fends for her life by scavenging through bins just to feed herself and bathing in dirty, polluted water to stay remotely clean.
For her sixteenth birthday, all Marley could wish for was a chance to feel what it's like to live in one of those rich looking, fancy Mansions in the Higher District. To have a chance to feel safe and enjoy the prestigious life of being rich.
When her wish comes true and her world is turned upside down, how will she cope with her new mate and the threat of attacks being her problem to deal with? Read to find out.
