But it doesn't take Cecilia and Maisie long to realize that the handcuff prank is a little more than just a lighthearted joke. The thing about Demon metal is that it is a fickle thing. It can only be unlocked by the person who has the key and no matter what method is used, it cannot be broken. Cecilia would rather just forget the whole thing, refuse to give Ezekiel the satisfaction he so wants, and remain handcuffed to Maisie for the rest of her life.
