Mama Tolu's Broken Ear (Short Story)

Tolu was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was a precious gift from heaven as the only child of his family. His mother's overdosed love launched him into the path of youthful waywardness. All effort to make him turn a new leave failed while his father was alive. His escapades in crime and the breakthrough he enjoyed was envied by many. That envy did not last long. Tolu, like a yam tendril, was cut down in his boom years after a successful kidnap outing. He was to have a date with the long arm of the law.
