Two Special Agents, both at the top of their field, are charged with investigating a string of murders in the city of Trost.
Special Agent Jaeger is one of the best violent crime detectives in Paradis, and you are one of the most accomplished agents specializing in homicide and forensics. You're transferred and assigned to work with him on a special case that not even he can solve:

"What makes you think that?" You scoffed, slightly offended.
"The complexity of it," He answered, "Trost is overrun with crime and corruption, but tell me, partner," He emphasized the last word as he walked over to you, "Don't you think this is a bit more than just some petty arsonist? More than some freak virus?" He crouched down so he was closer, and eye-level with you, you could smell the faint scent of his cologne.
"It's sure as hell starting to look that way," You gritted your teeth.
