When the king of the dragons, King Ocerus, goes missing one day, a Firekin girl named Pey and her Dragonkin friend Launa go searching for him, uprooting a world of mystery as they search. After stumbling across an Earthkin boy knee-deep in the Dragon King's kidnapping, the girls fight to bring their king home and restore order to a crumbling alliance.
