In a world where a fraction of wolves wield powers beyond what Earth is capable of, a Peirperey successor has been ridden of her abilities by someone who used to be her best friend. 
When another wolf takes the powers back, they are stored in pebbles, which he himself cannot touch, but other wolves can.

He finds eight other powerless wolves and gives the pebbles to them, entrusting the magic with them until they can find the lost pierperey heir, and return the powers to her, restoring their legacy once more.
