The Third Child, Shinji Ikari, faces a new threat - a group known as SEELE, which has been secretly plotting an end-of-the-world scheme that will force humanity to become as one. A random stranger one day visits Shinji, and warns him that if they don't cleanse the perpetrator, then the Earth is certainly done for. It's a matter of time before NERV becomes a tool that will enable instrumentality.

The Third Pilot (Evangelion x Reader)
Y/n Ikari is a introverted person abandoned by his father as a kid. Now, years later, he is called back by him to do something. He doesn't know what, but the actions of him will decide the fate of the stricken world they live in. The people he meets and the events that occur will change him, for better or for worse. A/N: This story follows the rebuild movies, but has elements from the TV series included. I am still new to writing specifically for others, so my style at the moment may be a bit jarring for others. I apologize for this.Complete
