In a far-off land, there are thirteen kingdoms, each named for a deity. These deities granted magic to the royals of each domain for the good of their subjects rather than themselves.
Maxwell, the prince of Floria, the Kingdom of Plants and Nature, is gay. When he comes out to his father, he's exiled with the threat of death looming over his head, alongside Matthew, the Glacien prince who defends him.
While the two search for a new home, they stumble upon Obscura, the Kingdom of Darkness, led by cruel royals, such as the king and queen, their son Julio, and his love Aliya, a princess of light.
Maxwell and Julio quickly discover their disdain for one another and friends both old and new find themselves in the middle. Will these two stubborn monarchs spark a war? Or will they come to peace with each other?
