This story is about a young man named Alex Houk, who, after dying, was brought back to life by "The Crossroad", the arcane place that links fictional worlds together and makes them exist. There he decided to change his world for the better, so, when he came back, he founded The Crossroad Empire. But before he can do that, he has to recruit Guardians from different worlds, and along the way, he will free these worlds from their own injustice and evil.
