It is just as it is with the flower. If you love a flower that lives on a star, it is sweet to look at the sky at night. All the stars are abloom with flowers. Flowers bloom in the darkest hours of night, blooming with the most beautiful reds and purples. There was something about the sight of such beauty in an otherwise monotonous landscape that made everything seem more real. Like you were looking right through the clouds up onto the sky. It was like being able to see the whole universe, not just some part. Or perhaps it was just his imagination. "Might we be getting close?" A voice asked from beside him. He looked over and saw her. Just like a star, she seemed to shine in the glow of the setting sun. She turned to look at him and grinned softly, leaning back against the seat and stretching out her legs before crossing them at the ankles. Her silver hair that seemed to shine whenever a ray of light shone on it as well as her green eyes that seemed to sparkle, no wonder she's called the star of Darium. He had always wondered what they would feel like against his skin. Would it feel soft, warm, or cold? But he wasn't sure which. "I'm pretty sure we're almost there, why? Do you want them to slow down so you can get a better view?" He teased lightly, hoping to make light of whatever tension had suddenly settled between them since that morning. They were supposed to head off to Rimda today, along with the rest of their squad for some mission that wouldn't take long or be any real use. They weren't going to be gone long, though. She shook her head, "You don't need to stop for me! I already got all I need from this view." And he did too, she was right. The sun was setting as they continued onward. They should reach their destination in about three hours or so depending on when they decided to make camp. It would be dark soon. Dark and lonely.
