The cult is back in Hackensack, after Maya gets arrested she is lead away in the car where she is taken to Hackensack prison to face trial for the murder of her therapist Dr. Karren Norris.
But because Jake broke the deal that they made when they were kids he is no longer safe from Chucky and is now in trouble especially with her wife the more volatile of the twins is after him.
