Sometimes tortured souls can find each other. Even when their pretty little masks stay securely on their faces. They find each other when the light goes out and the monsters emerge. They find each other submerged in the glistening moonlight that shows the scars ignited on their skin. "You unlovable, utterly dreadful child of mine." - Haru wished for a friend, splashes of colour to perfect the imperfect her. Someone that would cover up the gaping hole she felt in herself. Someone that could multiply her self worth measured in droplets of water. Yet, this masquerade of hers dug herself deeper into her own abyss, slowly, overwhelmingly, aggressively. Two lonely souls met beneath the moon's guidance, and their tales would begin to intertwine. They who know not how to love wished to feel it anyway, flailing, struggling, trudging through the tumultuous stages of youth. TW: mental illness, domestic abuse
